Raden Ngabehi (R.Ng.) Ranggawarsita (1802-1873) bernama asli Bagus Burham. Ia putra dari Mas Pajangswara dan cucu Yasadipura II, pujangga besar Kasunanan Surakarta. Ayahnya keturunan Kesultanan Pajang, sedangkan ibunya dari Kesultanan Demak. Sewaktu muda, Bagus Burham terkenal nakal dan gemar berjudi. Maka ia dikirim oleh kakeknya untuk belajar agama Islam kepada Kyai Imam Besari di Pesantren [...]
